CHORAL FUNIS DUALITAS Luca d'Alberto e Xabier Iriondo They share the passion for the antique and the modern ,their musical project moves through different ways, styles and ages with an approach which is sometimes narrative and sometimes improvisative. The need to combine the acoustic-electric-electronic world brings them to develop and propose concerts/performances founded on the dialog between an acoustic-classsical instrument (the VIOLA), and a LAPTOP,in which pieces from the classical-romantic and ‘900 repertory (...from Bach to the latter compositors) are elaborated and transformed in a real-time processing. The using of particular instruments like VIOLECTRA (6 strings viola) by L.D’Alberto and MAHAI METAK (10 strings board-guitar) by X.Iriondo, gives birth to an “original metalanguage” in which radical improvisation and sperimental virtuosities stand out. In conclusion Choral Funis Dualitas proposes a performance which is full of references and quotations (from romantic age to the XX century european avantgardes crossing rock electricity).
